RepoSweep is made by Rusty Daemon (“we”). If you have a question about this policy or your data, email support@reposweep.app.
The app
RepoSweep doesn't collect, send or share any data.
What it reads to find build output (file names, sizes and dates in the
folders you choose, and Git's files) stays on your Mac. Its settings,
last scan and cleanup history are kept in
~/Library/Application Support/RepoSweep. Delete that folder
to reset the app. If macOS asks for access to folders like Documents,
that lets the app read them on your Mac, not us.
Help → Report a Problem… opens a draft email in your mail app. Nothing is sent unless you send it, and the window shows everything the draft includes, such as the app and macOS versions, your Mac model and counts from your last scan.
The website
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request, such as your IP address and browser, to deliver the page and protect the site from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The launch email list
If you leave your email address on the site, it's stored by Buttondown, our email provider, and used only to tell you when RepoSweep launches. We never sell it or share it with anyone else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can ask us to delete your address.
Support
Email support@reposweep.app, or choose Help → Report a Problem… in the app. Support email is handled by Proton, our email provider. If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you. We use it for nothing else.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you (at most your email address, purchase details and support emails), and ask us to correct or delete it. Email support@reposweep.app. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
RepoSweep is a tool for software developers and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects data the app handles, we'll say so in the changelog too.
